Explosives weren’t OP before

Playing the game now, and not being able to use rockets or gas canisters at all since they’re completely useless, reminded me of how it was before. I don’t think the explosive damage was the problem, I think it was the GIGANTIC Blast Radius that would hit you when you were pretty far away where I’d always think “I shouldn’t take splash damage from here”. I don’t know, but I do know that one explosion can set off a huge chain reaction of cars and electrical boxes which will blast you back pretty good. Just what I was thinking…

I hope it gets buffed, explosives use to work before but it does not anymore. I stopped playing the game because of the no loot and explosives damage nerf. Im just waiting for the next update. cant wait as iam addictive to this game. Huge fan.

I second that explosives could use a buff again. They seem pretty useless right now, especially since they also don’t stack in inventory like EMP cells. It would be ok if it took 4-5 large fuel cells to seriously hurt a big robot (maybe to disarm even). And you should be able to blow up a normal hunter with 1 cell, and maybe 2-3 cells for a military/FNIX hunter. At least I think so… :sunglasses:

I sort of feel that they were overpowered as you could take anything down with a pair of gas canisters.

The rince and repeat cycle of zig zag in, throw EMP, drop gas tanks and run away made the game a bit too easy even in solo mode.

However I do feel that explosives are still a little under powered at this point, to the extent that I still don’t use them much (just some long range grenade work to soften up tanks.)
