Who said that FMJ is the standard ammo for the pvg?
It was just an example by Carni and will count for most of the guns.
For the pvg I indeed would expect AP to be the standard type. It’s an anti-material-rifle.

Same as my PM-71. I think the second augment is additional experience but I would need to confirm that.
The 6c AI-76 with 50 cal BMG at close range shreds harvesters.
I have found if you pick up a weapon that uses a different ammo type and is intended for scrapping the next machine you destroy will provide ammo for that weapon as well.
Some downed machines have an empty inventory as well.
Wan’t it to be realistic? Then there shouldn’t be any FMJ at all, we just had 2 types of ammo. Same as used in our browning .50 cal and it was the AP Fire or Explosive Fire round. Also not named PVG, it should had been AG for the M82A1.
Instead if we look at the crafting in GZ it’s the more expensive/resource demanding round of the two standard versions all over that got removed from the loot, except the .50 AP. It’s not that I not find any FMJ but with only AP loaded it’s 99,99% AP I find. About the same as I got with 5.56AP but then it is about 90% AP. When I’m not using 5.56 AP it’s almost only FMJ, similar goes with .50 ammo.
If it was supposed to be AP only, I shouldn’t find both kinds?
Maybe a bug but it also feels good that you ain’t getting loot every time.
it is even cheaper with 9mm pistol shock!
I prefer .44 magnum explosive overall, but .50 cal. Explosive is good closer- up.
My faves to use in the Exp AI-76 are the 7.76 and .50 BMG (both armor piercing). I keep the suppressor on because sometimes I’ll get in a lucky shot from a place of cover and concealment on a Titan or greater vehicle) when I’m using the .50 BMG. I don’t go to Rock n Roll (full auto) or burst with the .50 BMG though. When it comes to the .50 BMG in the Exp AI-76, it’s semi auto only. I may use burst if I’m close enough, but that’s about it.
.270 soft point by far. This is now my goto weapon for all content with this ammo type, it just rocks!
Where can i find experimental ai 76?
Same as any other experimental fight rivals and tryants.
What Is tryant and where can i find those tryants?
Kill lots bots, then there will be a marked stronger version of machines show up on map, can spawn up to 8 in each region, that’s the rivals (i don’t get it why some ppl say tryant, though. anyway, that’s the one).
After lv25, you might get experimental weapons (pink 6 crowns label weapons) drop from killing rival machine, experimental type of Al-76 & HP5 & shotgun are added to the loot’s pool after final showdown update. Tbh, that new exp shotgun is totally worthless, exp AG-4 s way better that it as a burning ammo gun.
Btw, the ammo i love most on AL76 is usually sniper type ammo, those which their guns with low mag, low fire rate, slow reload. Although the recoil suck, but that doesn’t matter at all, coz you only need high power ammo when fighting large machine, n you won’t miss an elephant at point blank range would you?
The Reaper and the Soviet Vulture are Tyrants.
just hard to understand is it even worthile to specify a class for one n only Reaper? N then one n final Vulture? These 2 one-of-a-kind boss machines don’t even hav different variant like other machines’ classes.
Before the vulture was introduced, the reaper just was the reaper. No class was needed as it worked Like every other rival, just with some additional requirements.
With the vulture introduced they had to find a way to code a spawnbehaviour different to the rival system, which is bases on region score, because it would have been too random for just these two now called tyrants.
So they pulled the reaper out off the rival system and created a new class, tyrants, and built a new system for them.
I guess this new system was easier to create than changing the existing system to seperate the achieved scores to soviet and fnix score points.
And in my opinion it was a good way as it made killing rivals and attacking fnix bases more rewarding… more senseful.
Last but not least, I would have been more satisfied with also having soviet bases and not being limited to the regions that currently have control points.
I suppose they did planed that future soviet base would locate at north, mountain, and marshland regions the time they limited fnix base in the south part at the very first moment, just that things hardly go as same as what you had planed.
