Favorite Easter eggs?

Over the years generation zero has done countless Easter eggs, which has made the game more fun and interesting, and gives you yet another thing to do. What’s your guy’s favorite Easter egg, whether it’s a secret location, side mission, or even just a small detail? Mine would probably have to be the bear cave in the archipelago, as it was the first real Easter egg I ever found, years ago. I’ve played since the game came out, and there are most likely still lots of Easter eggs I have yet to find.

The “Back to the Future” Volvo DeLorean taking off and flying away when you pressed the button. Sadly, I believe it stopped doing that quite a while ago.

This was one of the first I found, too. And it was surprising as well. Unexpected.

The delorean was great, the Assassin’s Creed easter egg was fun and of course the shining easter egg on himfjäll.

I actually haven’t heard of the assassins creed easter egg, I might have to look that one up and check it out later today!

I guess it was that one:

Found here at the forums.

Dang I’ve never seen that, I’m gonna try to find it tonight if I have time

This was not an Easter egg but it really made me laugh out loud :joy: I didn’t capture the video sequence leading up to the picture, but it was priceless - and probably not within the games age rating

And @OBiW4NSHiNOBi 's video just below gives a hint …

Oh my gosh! My harvester/truck posting from '19 was just flagged by someone as inappropriate and put in quarantine :scream::joy:.

Luckily our good friends and moderators managing this forum took it out of temporary quarantine again - proving to me that even though they are obliged to uphold the code of conduct, they do have a sense of humour - and a good portion of common sense too.

However, allow me to apologise to whoever felt hurt or offended by this rather funny situation. And please let me offer you another possible explanation, that hopefully might ease you mind:

What happened was actually, that I through an extreme display of violence and highly excessive use of intense firepower and explosives destroyed the harvester in such a way, that it randomly crashed upon the lorry. The lorry happened to be an unfortunate collateral which regrettably often is the result of engaging in violence and war.

Furthermore let me emphasize that this took place in a computer game scenario, and that I in real life condemn any use of violence to such an extend, that I have devoted my life as an engineer to the design of medical devices to reduce human suffering and save lives. Can you claim the same? Good!

These are indeed crazy times …

Oh … by the way … even though this - whatever it was - happened many years ago now, I do remember that there was consent. I was there and I know.

No way they took it down over a giant robot moving back and forth on top of a shed, that’s crazy :joy:
