Safehouse. Storage. Jesus. Christ. I would like to have a persistent storage stash so i can rotate and experiment with weapons without having to drop them because inventory cant handle it all (keep reading for inventory thoughts below, number 11 will shock you psst fannypacks) id like to build up ammunition caches, health item caches. Etc. I want to feel like im trying to survive here.
Body armor/kevlar vests: Itd be nice to find some actually resistant clothing because i have tested and found that there is almost no difference running clothes with bonus vs those without. Body armor would be nice to find and wear (with stat/cosmetic enhancement) its also asthetically pleasing to some of us. Doesnt need to be spaceage but come now. It existed.
Skills: i dont like the all are locked by previous except for specialization and advancing a tier level. Yes require points but dont make me waste them on a stupid skill or one i dont want/need just to get to thd ome after it that i do want or need. we need to have the freedom to be able to assign to the areas vital to our created characters function and future. It really impeeds enjoyment wasting what you worked hard for. I just wanted to expand my inventory. It was a waste to get to it. Come on!!!
Also crowbars seriously need to be a thing. Oh the door is locked? Like i wouldnt try to pry it open. Lockpicks are hella cool. Like having that as a skill. Would seriously also like to be able to pry a door open. Heck id honestly wail on it with a hammer too. Aint no door stronger than me. Ive got the power of no life on my side.
Exp needs a rehaul. Ive literally killed a search drone and recieved 29 exp, killed a harvester and recieved 9. Yes, 9. Ive also had a pack attack me and recieced 1k. It needs to be challenging but also rewarding or i will likely just ignore combat because it doesnt feel worthwhile. Seriouslly. Big guys need to mean big rewards. I want me and my group to feel accomplished when we fell one and actually get something out of it. Many times we win combat only for the game to NEVER RECOGNIZE IT. Its a 70/30 ratio. Its really defeating in its nature.
Destroying sensors on harvestor and greater do not impeed the enemy at all. They can track me and hit me perfectly. (Clients ive hosted too) rockets need better hit detection. In a large large battle a client who joined me fired rockets that would pass through the enemies and detonate on the trees or rocks behind them and not damage the enemy at all. Needs greater hit detection as well as proper splash damage.
Grenades explode way too quickly when they do decide to work. Legit pull pin throw and boom.
Wat.
Didnt even cook it. It necer made it halfway in its arch. I dont wanna be standing on the robot. I want to be away from it. I want it to boom from a distance.
Flares do not distract any enemy for myself or for my clients. Enemies ignore them.
Fireworks do nothing for myself or my clients. Enemies ignore them.
All enemies know exactly where i and my clients are. From distances that are absurd. There is literally no difference when crouched and moving slow, with or without lights on, with or without clothing with noise or visibility bonus. This is ridiculous. Literally ridiculous.
The shotgun is amazing. I love it… However, birdshot is far superioir in damage and range than buckshot. Buckshot is the weakest ammunition i have used. This should not be the case.
Silencers enhance range on actual weapons. They are im effect an extension to the barrel. Why are you penalyzing damage so severly? It should be normal or even extended imo. There are countless expert and indepth breakdown videos on youtube as well as articles online. Stop it.
Ap ammunition needs a slight buff. I didnt notice a difference when using it at all.
.44 mag needs damage buff. Thing is a joke. My birdshot is far more effective against any enemy. It should feel like a hand cannon. Not like a pea shooting .32.
Melee should always be an option.
“But joey” you cry, “they are mechanical robots made of metal.”
Yup.
“Punching them is useless” you persist.
Dont care.
Want punch.
Want kick.
Especially those jerk ticks. Some enemies anger me so far that i can only be satisfied by punching a giant robot in its stupid robot face. Or by kicking one of those jumping doofus over. They can pounce on us and knock us over. Why not be able to give a hardcore straight up kick to knock them down too. Bonus points for making it a drop kick. Extra bonus points for adding in running/jumping drop kicks.
Melee continued: Besides. Id like to grab a sledge hammer (or even clawed hammer. A hammer in general, heck even a shovel or an awesome crowbar.) It doesnt have to do a tone of damage. Just some damage. We need a last resort weapon if we have no ammo. A melee weapon to equip just as we have primary, secondary, side arm, we need a melee option. and give a good wack. No bladed weapons. Robots laugh at them. Or do it. Because ninja.
“But joey” you cry, “just run away if you have no ammo.”
No. They started this fight. Not me. I was just sneaking around them, trying to loot, before the mechanical flying alarm potato came and alerted them. I didnt even want the fight. I just wanted new sneakers and maybe a snickers bar. It’s personal.
Pnumatic harpoon gun. All the yes.
Itd be nice to have some minor crafting elements. (I mean you guys put a sticky flair in the game with a regular flare and legit called it a modified flare. To have a minor weapons modification ability like this would be cool beans)
Inventory blowout: Would also be nice to have a backpack. Where is my charcter keeping his thousands of rounds of ammo? In his skinny jeans? Not even a fannypack? You think im joking? Put a fanny pack in the game with my name on it and im wearing it.
“Eww fanny packs are gross.”
Your face is gross.
Pants alone cant contain my LITERALLY THOUSANDS OF ROUNDS OF AMMUNITION, hundreds of health packs, epipens for days, grenades, a freaking radio box. Come on. Immerse me a bit with packs/bags. Maybe even expand the inventory just a bit more. Itd be nice
Id like to also request that BUNKERS NEED MORE SUPPLIES!!! Wheres the armory, wheres my med room filled with gauze etc so i can get the good good.
Translation: the bukers are awesome. A bit cookie cutter in design and confusing at times, i feel that adding an armory and medical storage areas would be more immersive. No they dont have to have all the weapons in the game but having some with ammo staches makes sense to me. Feels more bunkery to me. Same with a medical storage area. These things feel a bit reduced in their level of awe.
