I can’t believe I have to request this as a feature, but it would be nice if everyone in the game got the XP reward for completing missions. After the New Dawn update, only the host gets XP.
I reached out to support regarding this thinking it was a bug, but it isn’t. I was told that it’s a new feature to encourage more people to host games. That’s all well and good, except you’re going to end up with servers full of people trying to host, but no one wanting to join games because you get nothing for it.
This new “feature” is profoundly flawed and only serves to punish new players and those starting new characters to play with friends. It defeats the purpose of making the game multi-player, ruins co-op, and takes away the incentive to even play the game.
