Fix or change melee Gas Release

Something I’ve been thinking about and that didn’t get too much attention, but the Gas Release from FNIX tanks and harvesters should be fixed. It’s quite useless and easy to exploit: get within the radius of the machine that trigger it to release gas, but stay far enough so the gas doesn’t hit you. This way there is nothing the machines can do to hit you. The effect of Gas release should either be extended to a larger radius, or it should be replaced altogether with something more challenging

God, don’t give harvesters the stomp… that makes me hate tanks, and harvesters are sposed to be easy… please no…

They do have the stomp though. They use it when you’re REALLY close to them

Their stomp is sort of like a digging action with their feet. By far the best stomp mechanic.

Harvesters and Tanks have ticks already as close to mid range detering arsenal.
Harvester dont have HMG’s.
Extending gas attack range might cause player not able to seek refuge inside house, if gas glaud engulfs whole house.
So really hard to think new defencive system or how to modify that gas attack.
