Around the same time as all my missions disappearing and stats being reset to zero after playing online I’ve noticed I mainly seem to get flashlights from loot bags. Not one loot box had a flashlight in it in my first 12 or so hours, now I mainly only see flashlights. Is anyone else having this issue or is this normal?

That’s definitely not normal. What happens when you pick one up?
Any time I’m the client I get a ton of flashlights from loot.

Nothing happens. I mean the flashlight is taken from the loot container but nothing is added to inventory. I feel like it should be other loot like a med kit, adrenaline or even weapon mods but I get flashlights instead.

I experienced the very same issue in my game (Win 10). Though this only happens when I’m a client in a multiplayer session.
Unfortunately this problem persists even after the recent update.
