You’ll need to lockpick a safe, I think the doors can be opened normally. The Ammo Storage safes are at the bottom of the complex. There’s a back entrance with docks and storage facilities near the sea, roughly north-west. Opposition at the facility include Ticks, Runners and Hunters with grenade launchers and .50 rifles.
I may have to do a Recce. By bottom, I assume you mean underneath? So if I skirted the sea and came in from the North (they generally don’t patrol the shoreline), I should get quite close to the back entrance? What indications are there to show the door? :)) I love this…!
Actually, the safest way I’ve found is to come up the far western coast from the south. That will give you a safehouse on the way (halfway up the far western coast). Past that safehouse you’ll have to just hike without roads northwards and around the corner, where you’ll come to the ground-level exterior parts of the complex. It’s the level you can get into from there that the munitions dumps are on. There will be two pairs of the big green blast doors on the north end of that lower interior level, those are where you’re headed. Be careful, as there will probably be some military hunters both outside and inside the lower level, and usually at least one of the ones inside has a rail-gun that can one-shot you. Be warned, I’m not 100% certain if the munitions dumps are unlocked until you get the mission for the area.
FWIW, if you’re taking the time to go there though, I would seriously suggest taking the time to explore the facility completely (there will only be one place you can’t get to without the mission to go there, an area on the bottom level that is also behind some big green blast doors), as it’s usually actually got a reasonably good amount of ammo and other supplies, and there’s a safe-house near the northern railway entrance inside the facility itself that drops you right where you need to be when you’re starting the mission from Uttern that requires you to go to the complex.
Uttern, eh? Yeah, I got in from the north through the tunnel, and explored everywhere I could. Killed about 12 Hunters (who had nothing useful on them at all) and finally drew everything in the area to the safe house entrance and killed it. But, I couldn’t get into the big green doors, and three red ones were locked. I imagine the weapon is through one or all of them. Hum. I’ve got some bar codes for Uttern, but not enough, from my solo (and non GZ mission) to Klinte. I might go and hunt round Klinte for enough bar codes and find Uttern. I’ve got one Safe House in Klinte, and now one here at the Base. My next nearest is on the South Coast Peninsula! I wondered how to get in the doors… Some will respawn but not the same number, so it should be easy if I can get into Uttern.
Thanks
If anyone is short of mines, this is your place - every box is crammed with them.
You may actually have enough for Uttern. A number of those northern bunkers only show if you have enough or not once you’ve been to the location of the bunker itself.
And yeah, Muskudden is one of the best places to restock on heavy munitions even once you’ve unlocked the other bunkers. Normyrra is pretty good too, but that’s even further north.
When I picked up the barcodes from the dead machines in Klinte (epic battle round the church) it suddenly showed Uttern Bunker in the missions, with two parts to it - Find barcodes + Interact with Warboard. I found three or four, but I see that the Find Barcodes isn’t yet ticked - still diamond, so I assumed that means I haven’t got enough, although I see the location on my map now… What do you think?
I just remembered, Muskudden’s ammo storages are only accessible once you clear out Uttern and get a mission off it’s Warboard, to check out the facility and try to hamper Machine operations in the area.
Four should be enough I think. If not, there’s typically a few machines (usually military hunters and runners) outside the bunker you can kill. Like I said though, I didn’t see the boxes ticked for anything beyond Minken until I was standing outside the bunkers, I just stopped getting the barcodes as loot.
Ah, that’s interesting! At the end of the battle there were 22 machines outside the church. Th first three or four had barcodes (say two hunters and two runners) and no others afterwards, so I was surprised to see the box not ticked… I’ll go and have a look. I want that Auto4!
ISTR that it was in one of the pair of ‘sheds’ in the munitions dump that had a bunch of actual shells in it, but I’m not certain. I didn’t pay much attention when I got it since I already had an exceptional AG 4.
Hi there. The game says there should be a weapon at “Tokeröd Farm”, between Sillavik and Torsberga Fort, but I simply can’t find it, neither near the safehouse or at the farm. Can anyone give a hint to where the weapon is located at Tokeröd Farm? Thanks!
If I remember correctly it’s a rifle (either an Älgstudsare or an AG 4 I believe) located in the building that constitutes the safe-house for the location (it’s out on the water). Approximate coordinates should be roughly -3970, 4195.
Can anyone help with the weapons in Fiskebäck? I found the one in the policecar, and by the table with the other supplies, but I can’t find the third. Anybody?
It’s in a big green truck near the table, up in the cab. I don’t remember if you can open the truck though unless you have the mission that leads you to it.
I went from Klinte to Muskudden, couldn’t get into the doors 'cos I hadn’t gone there for a mission, so went to Uttern(?), found the mission, went back, found the safe, opened it as you did and found a box with an Auto4 and an Auto5, both “worn”! But since they were in a box, rather than free-lying, that’ll be random, won’t it?
I found the Exceptional Auto5 in the little bunker where I told someone there was an eye-patch - close to Kilnte. But that was in a box too…
Yes, weapons in boxes will be random (you can also get attachments). I think the farther north you get, the more stars the weapons in boxes have, generally…
