After the update “Dark Skies” the game dropped a lot of FPS. From 50-60 fps on ultra settings to 20-30 on any settings, even on the minimum.
I tried to install the game on both Windows 10 and on Windows 11, there is no difference.

It won’t help. Since the appearance of the problem, I have changed 3 versions of drivers and windows. There is no sense from this. It seems that after the update there was some kind of lock fps.
In addition, the 526.86 driver is mainly designed to correct a bug in Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2

I just know that in general the drivers should be kept up to date.
Maybe the december - update (of Generation Zero) will help you. There are performance improvements announced.
Video card drivers do not need to be updated every time new ones are released. Often this does not make sense, since most driver updates are designed to support a particular game, so if there is no game, then there is no point in updating again
