So say I am walking in the forest and all of the sudden my game starts to slow down for some reason. I’m nowhere by the airport or anything so I wasn’t expecting this. Please fix this soon it ruins my gameplay.

I agree, this is a great annoyance. I’ve found out that once you fast travel it fixes itself. That’s not to say though that it won’t happen again, especially if you just put a radio down near the airbase and fast travel on that. It may help, it may help for only a couple mins then go back to slow-mo. Or it may not work at all. This exact problem happens in “The Hunter:Call of the Wild” so I’m wondering if it’s an actual issue with the Apex game engine itself…
