Friend can't walk after picking up helmet

I’m playing a 2 player co-op with my friend and he’s unable to walk after picking up the military helmet, two toned brass. Unsure if this item is corralated to the issue but we noticed after she exited her inventory, she couldn’t walk in any direction. All other keys worked including jumping but it’s just W, A, S, D keys. This took place at the Stora Hagbo Homestead in the Boat House.

The trouble shooting we’ve taken.

  1. Taken off the helmet.
  2. Killing her character.
  3. Reloading the game.

Any other troubleshooting would help as we’ve got some decent loot and wouldn’t like to start over.

The inventory weight is at what? Since if there is quite a bit over the max, the movement will become disabled.

With Carry Capacity skill at lvl2, where the max carry weight is 80 units, the overweight values and effects are:

  • from 80 to 87.999 - can’t sprint, only jog or walk
  • from 88 to 96.999 - can’t jog, only walk
  • from 97 and above - can’t move at all

Also, regardless how much overweight there is, Fast Travel will be disabled as well.
