Game crash Steam Disconnect

Playing on PC (Steam) with a stable Wi-Fi connection. I host my own session in a invite-only lobby which is the workaround I’m using to be able to play solo.

Win 10, GeForce Nvidia 1080, 32 MB Ram.

Issue:
I play all my games via Steam and I actually never remembered having this problem except for Generation Zero. I’m writing this since it seems like a Steam problem, but if it only happens for this game? I’m getting an error message saying that Steam has disconnected and that the game will now quit. What happens is that everything freezes and I need to log-out of my windows session, restarting everything. In my c:a 50hrs of gameplay this happened like four times, while other games needing internet connection never had this problem.

Getting the same here , screen freezes and…CTR+ALT+DEL most of times … and on multiplayer also , I play with my GF. When I´m host , my game crashes as well as hers , and many times. This is annoying and I am not sure if we got hacked by some a**hole. I got stuck in Minken bunker mission , because I destroyed the machine in the container too early , before assigned as mission…I reinstalled the game hoping to reset things and voilá ! different day , SOS. I don´t wanna quit the game because I really like it , but I guess the guys from Avalanche should work updates faster.

I also has this problem. Very annoying and cant be fixed. Will try to play the game in offline mode
