Description:
I start the game and after the choose xbox user screen the game closes.
Yesterday I was playing multiplayer with a friend with no problems, the game crashed in the middle of the game and since then I can’t play again. I have uninstalled the game and I have reinstalled it, I have checked the game files and every time I try to play it does not let me, I do not even get the game menu, it does not go beyond the moment of choosing the xbox user.

Try following:

*Make a backup of your savegame.
*delete the savegame from its original place
*start the game - it should work now.
*close the game
*restore your backup
*start the game again

The problem is that I don’t know where the saved games are saved on the game’s pc.
I’ve been looking but can’t find them.

Idk. I just play on ps5, but google says:

By default your games will save on the C: drive and the common location of saved games is C:\Users\NAME\Saved Games\GAME

Thats for games that dont download of Steam. For GZ it would typically be Documents/Avalanche Studios/Generation Zero/Numbers (Steam ID)/saves. But since they are on MS Store/Gamepass, its unknown where its located instead, or at least as far as ive seen. Best bet is to email support regarding the saves.

In the local folder I have not found anything and also, when I reinstalled the game before the start, it synchronized the games with the cloud.

They have replied to the issued ticket. Good for the fast, very bad for the non-solution, I’m waiting to see if they can fix it in the next patch.
I am very unhappy, I have bought a service like a game pass, I have bought the game update (alpine) and I can’t play and I don’t know when it will be. Very bad.

Did you try to delete you apex connect account (by browser)?

Browsed to my apex connect account, deleted it, started the game and it worked. I was asked to stop deletion process and I agreed. Jumped into the game, got rewards for the assignment (and a lot more, I guess) and checked the apex connect preferences. It says “connecting”. Can’t watch in my fmtel, but can play now.
