Game save file deleted after syncing failed

Hi there

XBOX SERIES X

I HAD OPENED MY PC VERSION EARLIER THAT DAY AND IT MAY HAVE SYNCED TO THE SAME ACCOUNT (I HAD TO PURCHASE GAMEPASS ON BOTH PC AND XBOX IN ORDER TO PLAY WITH MY FRIEND ON MY XBOX INSTEAD DUE TO THE CROSSPLAY VERSION MISMATCH ERROR)

THE PREVIOUS NIGHT IT HAD WORKED SEAMLESSLY WITH ONE OTHER XBOX SERIES X PLAYER BUT LAST NIGHT WHEN I STARTED UP THE GAME, SYNCING FAILED AND MY SAVE FILE DELETED.

PLEASE CAN YOU ADVISE, I REALLY DON’T WANT THIS TO HAPPEN AGAIN

Most you can do i stick to one platform, either the PC Side of the Xbox version or the Xbox side. The cause behind this is because PC gamepass/MS Store has an unfinished update which is not compatible with the current update everyone else has.
