Hi, love the game, the music, the silly things, but where we can improve our weapons, improving the gas-mask is not possible, weird, I now have a gas-mask with less than 25% resistance, whilst often other masks are better in protecting from the gas. This should be changed, rapidly, it is illogical…
Gas Mask are useful for the gas rooms, but the players health doesn’t go below 18 or 25 and I don’t know rather it’s due to hidden mechanics or in-game skills (ex. gas resistance).
I had at times where my character health is at 18 (not sure if I had the gas resistance learned or not) and at 25 health (with gas resistance learned).
I think you require the skill, one of my characters does not have it yet, and i forgot, i put a gas mask on and went to a gas room, well…i died…either it was a bug and the game did not acknowledge i had a gas mask, or one must really have the gas resistance skill to not die at such exposure.
Gas masks were originally going to help protect against gas, but all clothing stats were zeroed a while ago and I think the devs have put that in limbo for now, perhaps to balance it out later. The Gas Resistance perk makes it so that your health drops to certain threshold when exposed the yellow gas, weakening you instead of it being lethal.
