I used Nvidia Experience Freestyle to remove the blurriness of this game and it worked very well. Just updated to the 445.75 Nvidia driver for my 1070. Freestyle is broken again like it was several versions ago. I get the can’t find game error message.
It might be about using the inbuilt nvidia imagesharpening. I havent updated to 445.75 yet so cant say personally but there is a hotfix out.
To be clear, Freestyle is part of Experience, not the driver. I can install a previous version of Experience and Freestyle starts working again but it auto updates and stops working again. I will try it though. Thanks.
Yeah I know thats two different things, we have had this discussion before
Can’t one just set Experience to not auto update?
I don’t know how it looks in GF Experience (never used it) but with FXAA disabled in nVidia control panel (AA in game set to FXAA + TAA), and disabled chromatic aberrations in graphic options GZ looks rather sharp.
Nope. Can’t turn off auto update. The new driver didn’t help.
I’m only using the Nvidia sharpening at 0.70 sharp/0.17 ignore grain and it’s very nice looking here.
I played many months without AA at release but since this inbuilt filter was released in the driver I even started using the games FXAA-TAA again without issues =)
I had FXAA off already but tried turning off chromatic aberrations just now. Looked a bit better but not as good as the Freestyle filters. It still looks fuzzy in a church to me.
I will try with image sharpening at 100% and film grain at 100% off. I thought I had them set already but they wern’t.
