General Ideas for Hard Mode and Extreme Mode

Below (new post) I will post a suggestion for possible Game+ and G++.
Feel free to comment, add ideas, …

G+ (Game+ AKA Hard Mode)
ENABLE MP SCALING!!! (these ideas are SOLELY for SP).
Missions: Lowered Exp Gain (30%?)
Weapons: Level and Location Based Drops/use (by this I mean: as is, exp weapons can drop VERY early on, prohibit use of these to level 25 (EXAMPLE LEVEL, DO NOT TAKE THIS AS SET VALUE, PLEASE).
…Also, make that Gold Weapon drop from certain location onwards, not in the beginning, or level locked.
…Nerfing Weapons will not be an issue, I think…, though a revamp might be a good idea) [1]
Machines: Increased Intelligence/Reaction Speed/Aggression Range (this would, I believe, disable the need for more armour/HP) by say 25-40%.
…Add X% more machines (12%?).
…Add Level Based Machines? (So machines will always be in your level range)(OPTIONAL! if implemented)
Removal of Adren Pens (Or at the very least make these FAR harder to obtain)
HP Pack Level Lock (so certain HP packs can be used from certain level) (To prevent "cheating (others dumping higher HP packs)
…Bring players to use HP packs instead of Adren, this is just a silly approach to begin with, making HP obsolete.
Removal of Plundra (OR Give G+ it’s own Plundra not connected to the normal Plundra, thus create a “Plundra+” (not needed if weapons/useables get a level-lock).
Swap Adren Pen (if not removed) and HP pack stacks (25 stack size for Adren, while 5 for AHP? Insane!) [2]
Inventory: Remove 1 row
Some form of death penalty.

G++

Inventory: Remove 1 additional row (2 row totally)
HEAVY form of Death Penalty.

! ! ! These would be my primary idea, however, seeing the game locks out machines at 500M (I think it is?) the next suggestion comes to mind:
Moller - 26’ish meters
Klaucke - 30 meters
.44 50 meters to 80 meters

A5 (automatgevare 5) ((Spelling?))(5.56mm) - 200m
A4 (Automatgevare 4) ((spelling?))(7.62mm) - 250m

! ! ! AGAIN, SUGGESTIONS.

Weapon Damage:
Some weapons seem out of balance:
.44 has VERY low DPS compared to both Moller and Klaucke.
… a .44 does quite a wee more damage than a 9mm or .32. (NOT mentioning the logical reload time/need: it’s a 6-shooter with cylinder load).
AK then does far too much damage compared to the A4, considering it’s the same round.

Ammo Revamp:
9mm Pistol and 9mmSMG are the same round, suggesting to fix this mistake.

I think will be a good idea run just with one primary + pistol when U start G+…And mbe add possibility before game start use your main PLUNDRA (for player choice),after new game start your main stash not accessible more.Fully rebalance robots drop and loot boxes (robots not dropping small calibers (32 ACP,9 mm),simple boxes contain only flares,medpacks,12 G ammo and munitions for hunting rifles.all others calibers could be found only when checking police/military vehicles and different military objects)

I believe that would undo the reason for G+?
G+ is a hard mode: if you can plunder your Plundra… well… isn’t that basically ‘cheating’?

About robots drop I mean lil bit silly looks when U killing APO Hunter for example and what you find after is 32,9mm or something like this.They are using heavy calibers,not pistol or shotgun

Also,I think could be random start location in G+. It’s give U chance to play as other survivor.Travel probably thru whole Ostertern till first mission;)))

Ah.
But having a high end gun in the beginning… doesn’t it basically undo the whole idea of G+(+)?
Merely thinking out loud here…
IF they would go for G+(+), and they DO allow it… then so be it.
Up to me to just close the damn thing without taking anything from it.
I do hope, that is they allow this in +, that they will NOT in ++…

Frankly, I never understood these things: Why would a Shotgun using enemy drop .50?
That is SO darn immersion breaking.
Why did they change the loot box refill to 4 real hours ingame, while, crazy enough, adding Plundra at the same time?
Both to me seems to conflict the other: while nerfing drops “for balance” they added Plundra which breaks that same balance.
People surely are strange…

To me this seems nigh impossible, due to the mission layout and story: you washed ashore.
Besides, would you REALLY like to spawn way up north as level 1… and bump into FNIX bots?
Since that would be the result of free spawn.

Well,endgame and x-weapons…some players can try take them;))But straight after this they could have problem with additional munitions)))If enemies will be thicker,more active you will run out of ammo very fast.And if just one primary weapon wrong choice could be your death sentence;)))
About random start location-as for me this idea is awesome.You must plan every your step,think twice before entering battle with machines)))
I already playing with my new char,which equipped just with 5* Klaucke and 5* Algustdare hunting rifle,no medpacks or Adren shots,with start location at Hagaboda and I have extremely good feelings.Darkness and stealth are my best friends;)))Trying get to the Saltholmen😎

Game is made so munition drops more of which you use, even have in your inventory.
Imagine: you carry an A4, .50 and a Klaucke, but you have a .44 in your inventory: ammo for all you got on you will drop a lot more.
Again, why go for hard mode if you intend to ‘cheat’?
Level locking weapons might fix the issue, of course…?

I hope the powers that are would increase the Int/Reaction Time/Agg. Range.
Doing this, need for even more armour is out the door: the machine threat would increase in such way, it might be even possible they will need to nerf both armour and HP on machines…

I do not disagree.
But many already seem to find machines too hard… O_O
To them, this would be… pure horror… followed by a rage-quit…
IF they do this, I surely hope it will be optional. :slight_smile:

About munitions…I ran early this morning with ma’ favorite 5* AG4 and 6* PVG.But everything what I can find in robots were 9mm,243 and 5,56 munitions.Curious but fact.I ran out of my ammo for 90 minutes(my inventory + PLUNDRA) and started new game with new char)))
G+ I think could be orientated on experienced players,who knows when you can be active or stay hidden.I prefer horrors and nightmares :joy::joy::joy:

Oddly I had a similar thing with my darn 59’er!!!
Not ONE 7.62mm to be found in my bunker. XD
Despite it was the ONLY weapon I had… just no ammo…
Got stuck for hours there lmao.

But that is precisely why I find accessing inventory is so weird.
It’s meant to be a harder run, to give you a tad of challenge at least… and then you would go into Plundra?
Tres bizarre…?
As for horror… never had this in GZ, and I so hunger for that…
REAL threat…
