Generation Zero 2 (APEX wishlist/enhacements)

This game has one of the best animation/rigging. The robots move realistically like how robots should move. I love how when robots die and fall over, they do so like rag-doll. I like how robots have different components and we can disable/shoot those parts. I love the night time atmosphere… misty, raining… and the lighting effects from the robots & other street lights.

This is more of a request for Generation Zero 2 - and might be a bit too ambitious… but bear with me. Definitely keep working on the APEX engine to give us much more detail in the game’s 3D/physics engine. I would love to see more variety of large robots, especially steampunk design. The large robots should create air/wind as they swing/move - so would love to see trees/branches/leafs sway/blow… as well as flare/smoke move with the air/wind.

I love films like Jurassic Park where we hear trees/branches breaking then a T-Rex head pops out. Can we have the big robots able to enter and navigate through forests, possibly bending/breaking branches/trees?

I understand that buildings are not destructable. It would look cool for destructable buildings/walls, but I think after leveling a building, there’s nothing there. So am okay with having buildings indestructable. However, please do put in animations/scripts for robots pounding at doors trying to get into a doorway/building, and make it scary for people who are hiding inside.

Possible for robots to fall over? Say we drive a truck into one of the large robots legs? Or the robot is stuck in a mudslide during heavy rain. or ie. plant a mine and lure the big robot to step on it. The mine takes out one of the robot’s legs… the robot falls over but is still alive and will squirm/writhe trying to get up.

Possible to have soft-body deformation for the large robot parts? Basically, if you recall from killer robot movie/films, the bad robot always gets beaten up/trashed but still alive (Terminator, Robocop 2, etc). It would be good if we see physical metal plating bent/deformed from explosions/sniper bullets, or the robot head tilting because it got heavily knocked sideways… but the robot is still alive and moving, hunting you, etc.

Melee combat physics? Like Dying Light, it would be awesome to be able to swing a metal bar at a robot dog, etc… and see it slightly knocked/pushed…
