I’ve found that if you try to enter a tent you will often become stuck at the opening. Perhaps the tent needs to be raised up so the player collision box doesn’t interfere with the collision mesh of the tent.
That’s not intent…ded. I’m sorry. Anyway, is it a specific tent you got stuck in or several? If it’s the former, can you provide a screenshot and/or map location for where it happened? It would help a lot 
It’s at a camp called Saltholmstungen west of a bridge in the southern region, the tent with a body at the entrance. I’ll try to get a better description for you. I think it happened a second time, but not sure where. I quit trying to go into them after I got stuck. JUst got you joke, LOL

i know this is an old thread now, ive also got stuck at the same tent, once while exiting on the body, once when exiting on the “clear” side of the enterance. forced to close/quit the game both times and lost minor progress. flashlight aint worth it. also im playing on ps4 if that makes any difference
Do you know that you can fast travel to safehouses?You don’t have to close the game when you get stuck.
My remedy for getting stuck on geometry is to always bring a Field Radio with you so you can drop one nearby then travel to a safe house and travel back to the Radio.

tried fast travelling. said it was unavailable, i assume it was because i was registering in the air since i could only aim not move, jump or crouch. only progress i lost was a few dog, tick, and 1 hunter kill each time
When this happens to me (Xbox) fast travel is always possible.
I have experienced this sometimes when entering or exiting tents, sometimes getting stuck under an open container door on a truck, or sometimes just in terrain. As long as I haven’t been in combat fast travel has been possible.
The times I have tried to replicate it to report it, I have not been able to get stuck again.
It’s annoying when it happens. Good that you didn’t loose to much progress!
