Went to the location for the first time today, and no gnome to be seen anywhere. I decided to shoot a rocket at the house (blowing up the tractor as well), and then the gnome spawned and attacked me. Shot it, and got a gnome pod.

Yesterday it was sunny ingame, there was just an apoc seeker nearby and I just got an advanced first aid kit.
Nevertheless, IF no machines are nearby (or already have been destroyed), but the gnome is there, my companion still warns me, that an enemy is nearby.
By this I know that it’s there even before I reach that place.
the explosion must have radiused the distance and hitting the gnome next to the wood shed, also respawn rate of that gnome is like 4 hours somthing, 
so if your someone that needs all 7 gnome mask, it’s will take very very long time
A night visit to the woodshed is the best time it seems. Got another tick pod yesterday.
I received a tick pod so it is there.
Has anyone else gotten a mask yet besides Saazm? I’ve been randomly trying at least 10 times but still no luck

I got 3 so far, another one of the 1st mechanical I posted before and a yellow one. Also some Gnome pods and regular ticket pods.
And it’s only under certain conditions you have a chance of getting a gnome mask or a gnome pod.
If you don’t meet them, there’s no point in trying.

It must have been at least 2 days in the game since you were last there.

It must be “winter”. Winter on the new island means severe frost.

Pretty sure it’s not just supposed to be night, but after midnight too.

There must be Apocalyose machines nearby.
Every time I’ve been there and those 4 criterias were not met, I have never received a mask or a gnome pod. And it’s still gambling, no guarantee but loot is better if you only meets 3 of the conditions above instead of none. And who knows, it may be more things that should match, but so far these are the 4 I’ve noted.

after shooting the gnome, 4 hours need to pass being before spawning another, kinda like the loot boxes close back up & new stuff inside
