What’s with this? Some people haven’t got the gnome spawn and there are two rocks there instead?
The two stones are always there. As for the gnome that should spawn there, it might have spawned already and was activated by bullet fire of other players (in multiplayer), or Fnix machines might have shot it. Once activated it will explode after a number of seconds. And then you have wait until it spawns again.
If it never spawns, then I don’t know.
Maby they have another version installed or something
Another version isn’t possible.
This location just came with the last and final update.
Well, with the rocks is strange, but maybe it’s some kind of blocker if you haven’t reached this place by yourself.
At least the person who made the first screenshot can’t have reached the island yet (in his game). The story to be able to get there starts much later than the mission info in the upper left says.
So either he joined a multiplayer game and went there or he cheated somehow to get there.
They should finish the story first.

The trees don’t look right… Could be somewhere else entirely?
Yes, they could have gas-can blasted themselves to the island, maybe unlock a safehouse. But without the story completion I doubt any of the activities and missions would be activated.
