Going through fences

I can blow up machines & Finx bases, but I cant blow up a section or cut my way through a chain link fence? How does that make any sense?

Can we have some wire cutters or at least be able to blow up a section of fence?

That would be cool. A lot of running to find the end of a fence at times.

You can destroy the small wooden fences.
But you can also jump over them.

Maybe it’s a matter of world design that you shouldn’t be able to go through each fence.

But I would like to have a wire cutter, too.

Fences are easy, get over them with a launcher jump.

I want a shovel and a pickaxe, for those steep mountains on my way. So then I can tunnel through instead of going around. :coffee:

Why don’t you go over them with a launcher jump? You maybe just need some gas cans as support

Yeah, I could do that, but then I’d miss out on exploring the hidden and vast caves system that I might find the entrance of, when I just start digging.

Btw, there are many more examples of not making much sense. But it doesn’t matter that much because changes at some of these would destroy the mission design for example.

  • why can’t we destroy structures/gates/spotlights of fnix outposts, but whole fnix bases?
  • why can’t we shoot through houses walls, but destroy fnix bases?
  • why can’t we burn down trees and bushes, but ticks?
  • to be continued…

What about the taller wooden fences? Wire cutters would not help much there. Sometimes you have to accept the obstacles in the game, like fences, walls and at times trees, just need to go around.

What IS annoying is running through an area where there are a lot of fallen trees and limbs and you just stop running forward and can’t jump till you back up. That is very annoying. When you do back up you see you are stuck on just a small log that isn’t to high to jump over or just walk over but you can’t sprint over it.

You already have a pitchfork… how does that work out for you? :slightly_smiling_face:
