An easy one… Guess where it is?
It’s on the same place as I posted here, the Limestone Quarry.
I’ve been over the islands hundreds of times and I’m still having a hard time figuring out these photos.
I must admit that I’m not sure, too.
I would have thought it’s at the party location at Haga.
Is not at Haga, that the Party Barn.
Fun fact, it also has 10 little yellow ducks sitting on the couch chilling in the purple light.
From twitter:
“Dear Community,
We found some ruins today, but I think they were already there before the Machines took over. There was a military checkpoint set up, but the rust buckets had already overrun it. Luckily, there weren’t many of them left!”
Anyone who doesn’t know where it is?
I can’t say I don’t know. But what I do not know is how to take a picture from that high up. Must be a little dev trick.
Or an upcoming feature?
I don’t know.
There are really some camera features missing.
Like moving the camera instead of just changing angles.
My first reaction was:
That’s tricky. Please just use screenshots from Generation Zero, not real life photos.
Absolutely beautiful.
A little joke to lighten the mood…
I was this close before turning on the PS again to look, cause I was sure that I’ve seen this float, boat and boathouse before… Somewhere at Avern Lake.
But then I realized the depth of details…
I saw it posted on facebook, it is a Windows Lockscreen.
I saw it on Reddit lol
From twitter:
“Dear Community,
Today, we took down one of the flying Machines for the first time!
It was a tough fight, but we won by hiding in a barn to avoid its shots. I don’t know what kind of wood these things are built out of, but I’m thankful it withstood the hail of bullets!”
Copy’n’paste directly from the tweet to the post.
Btw… The location should be east of the crater, at the river, looking west.
From twitter:
“Dear Community,
Dad took me to a small port today. He called it “The place where it all began”. It was quiet there, eerily so, and he seemed uneasy while we were there.
He showed me how to use a fence to get onto the roof of a small cabin and there was Adrenaline there!”
The more I read of these letters, the more I become interested. So “dad” seems to be us, the teenager who began his journey at the coast at Yttervik.
May it be the introduction of a sequel, taking place years later?
