That has to be one of the houses on the NE edge of Lilla !?
That’s right Kimosabe_X.
the castle, the shed at the bottom flaslights, beginning of map
That’s correct, Cade.
I found 3 (so far) structures that look like giant gnawed clean chicken bones. Can you spot where I am?
And what do you think these structures are? Uprooted trees?
there’s a downed airplane on the other side, apelego region
There is indeed a downed Vraken north of the location.
Looks like southcoast region… Southeastern coastline.
South coast, yes. But it’s not pinpointed. That’s why I said it had a named location on the map. You saw that I took the picture right next to the cables?
I did, but I haven’t been in GZ for months, so I can’t remember the exact location. I need to search for it.
where is this south coast but i cant spot it lol im an idiot lol solhojden cable node ?? area
The dish is not at the Solhojden Cable node.
Meant was the South Coast Region, because there is the FNIX power grid. Now somewhere on that grid sits a dish. It easiest found at night because it emits some light.
Ok, no spoilers here, I’ve done the missions that hint at the killer’s identity and explored all the creepy locations tied to it. I remember getting really deep into the lore, even analysing the layout of the bodies for possible clues. Probably seeing signs where there were none!
One thing that stuck with me was a Resistance newspaper article, the one mentioning “dirty secrets,” trading apples for ammo or something, and referencing someone or a group connected to the last house in the north of Östervik.
So based on all that, my guess is the killers car in this picture, if this even is the killers car, is parked somewhere in the streets of northeast Östervik, near that house.
For me the identity of the killer is certain for 99%.
I suppose that it is not sure if the killer owns this car, I know for instance his family had a blue one, with a wheel missing. So my guess he took someone else’s car to get around. This car however, is not parked at his parental home at Pärlsjövägen 1 Östervik.
So where is it parked?
Loving this mystery, feels like proper detective work! You have some great intel on the killer. Didn’t know it was his parent’s home!
So now I’m thinking: if he borrowed or stole a car to move around, where would he leave it that still ties into the narrative but keeps it out of sight? Could be a spot with emotional significance, or even somewhere connected to one of the murders.
Since the light is hitting the passenger side directly, that side is likely facing west, which would mean the car itself is roughly pointed north and is thankfully not in a garage! Is that a glimpse of a shadow I see at the top right? The dappled, broken pattern suggests it could very well be from bushes or nearby foliage. You can see softer, diffused shading across the dashboard and toward the top edge of the bonnet, especially just above the steering wheel. It’s not cast by the windshield frame alone, suggesting something like a shrub or low tree might be nearby, just outside the passenger side. Could the shadow even be from………AN APPLE TREE ???
I’ll be combing the street tonight!
I wanted to show you one aspect of all the things I do when playing GZ. I have gathered bio information of all person’s names that were mentioned in the lore. The more important a NPC is the more info tidbits we can find and stitch together. Some of the bio’s are not very useful, because it leaves to much to guessing. But still it helped a lot in detective work.
My bio file is about 24 pages long. Here a small excerpt of one page.
That’s incredibly impressive, 24 pages of compiled bios is real dedication! But I wouldn’t expect anything less from you at this stage! It all helps make the world stay alive for me, even the smallest details can help piece things together. What really makes it cool is when you start noticing the little things not explicitly mentioned in the in game biographies, like Anita Sjögren driving an old red Ville 445, and whoop, there it is parked near the bus stop. It’s those kinds of environmental details that really show just how carefully crafted Generation Zero is. What makes it special.
That said, I do have to remind myself not to let my imagination run too wild? it’s easy to start guessing and building entire theories out of fragments. I’m known for doing just that and don’t want to create my own little echo chamber here!
Ok, I’m finally able to get on GZ now to hunt for the car. No clues yet please. The locations connected to the Apple Murder and the Growing Tree serial killer/group marked in my messy notebook include the Petterstorp Homestead, a shack near Avern Lake, the Vargen Bunker, an orchard and barn in the eastern Farmlands, Averholm Manor, Boo Church, and various woodland areas throughout the Farmlands and Forest Region. Got my work cut out!
