I’ve been there so often but never really noticed this cart, I think. I just saw the snowy environment, a road, trees and the powerlines and guessed it could just be in that part of the map.
Southcoast region… Looks like somewhere between Smabatshamnen and Sillavik or Sillavik lighthouse. It’s hard to guess the distances. The isle in the distance could be Masskar. It’s short after dawn (sun rises from the east), focus a few degree southwards, not straight 90°, so it should fit there.
Would have called it “Mind the gap, please”.
Was it at Torsberga?
Hehe… Wasn’t that the place where “the wolf of wall street”, which indeed wasn’t a wolf but a military tank (it wasn’t its real name), was patrolling in one mission?
At least I would assume it’s south coast region…
I guess you used dawn again for making the photo. As there is a shadow of the left cliff seen on the right cliff I would say, you’re looking southwards. (Sun on the left of your position → east)
The ravine north of Sillavik would explain the direction of the gap corresponding to the guessed time of day and perspective.
Thx. Of course I do. In this case everything fit together. In other cases it’s harder to take advantage of an unknown time of day. Like…
I see a church, roads and small shed left sided behind the church. Right sided I see a field between the trees, a distant mountain, a barn/farmhouse. And right behind the church there is a small pond.
Everything put together and compared with the map I come to the conclusion that it must be Sillavik church… Just the pond isn’t seen on the map. Due to the lack of other examples on the map where indeed a pond is seen next to a church, this exception is ok.
Now that I know the location I can guess in return that the time of day is about 12 o’clock (not proofable due to the lack of a working ingame clock), as the shadows go directly towards north and are relatively short (sun high).
In return I just can guess that this will be at dawn (long shadows, sun low). I guess it’s somewhere at the southern coast of Östertörn and therefore that the sun stands in the east when the photo has been shot.
But I could be wrong… It could also be at dusk at a northern coastline.
No 100% proof, but in most cases I would expect a more snowy landscape at the northern coastline. That’s why I still think it’s the south coast.
That’s Right. Btw, I really wanted an aerial shot from above. Would be great if the Photo mode would have an option to place the camera from 0 to 50 feet up.
