I liked the questions on this survey. Seemed important.

Especially the one about battles between factions with moving frontlines/borders sounded interesting.

But most of the questions where about existing features and a feedback about how much they are needed.

It’s a official Generation Zero survey, but thanks anyway.

So, anyone worrying or happy about the future of the game, after seeing the questions?

Both. Depends on the average answers they will get and what they will do with that.

It could be used to rethink and redo current features in this game or a Generation Zero 2.

It looked also like a survey about some feature-ideas from their backlog (like the one mentioned in my previous post).

It could also be used for more (story-)dlc or a sequel or prequel for the game (must it be related to sweden? Must the enemies be machines?) or spinoffs which take place somewhere else in the world.

With my answers I hope to have reflected a good point of view at the game and to have given some good ideas for the future which keep the “original” GZ-feeling.

And I hope, others will do the same and don’t use the survey to change completly what GZ is.

What did you guys think of plaver V player and moving frontlines? to me, I have been fantasizing about how epic that would be in this game . Also, faction specific quests for Swedish Military, Fnix, Resistance or Soviets would be cool!

I thought that question was not meant to mean player vs player, but player vs human NPC. :man_shrugging:

Edit: no, you are right: There are opportunities where other human players can be a threat and you are able to fight them.

“There are ways for me to create content for the game that the entire community may use.” Kinda sounds like mod support too me,

Word all good broski. Doesn’t Moving PVP frontlines and PVP sound awesome?!

Dude, right?! Yo if Tenebris sees this; Bro can you bring us all the AK variants the USSR can muster?

“There are opportunities to change aspects of the playable world based on actions by the player community as a whole.” Sounds like full community goals to me. “The player community can wage a joint war against other factions over a “season” of time with moving frontlines and territory control.” Don’t know about this. It kinda reminds me of a battlepass. “There are survival mechanics beyond combat survival, such as hunger and thirst.” This got me excited as I really like survival games based around combat. This should be a separate difficulty though. I’d say above guerilla.

I’m against nothing what the devs may come up with in general. But I am committed solo player, so… ehh… I won’t do that.

I did not like the part about “human players being a menace to me”

It reminds me about the way i play Dark souls games.
Sometimes humans enter my game and then the only thing i can do is fight them (which could be difficult) or switch the internet off.

I dont want that in GZ at all!!

If its a separate game mode, then at least its optional, but that would require the need for the Devs Team to divert precious time and resources from the main game, just for an alternative game mode.

I don’t want PvP in GZ either. Wouldn’t be against having human NPCs to fight, but hell no to PvP. If there’ PvP, then you’ll have cheater, hackers and griefers. And I like the fact we don’t really have to deal with that in GZ atm. At least not in the destructive way it is in a PvP environment.

To me, GZ is about the story and cooperative play.

They also already said they can’t add PvP or human enemies without having to get the rating and stuff changed I believe.

I voted strongly for that in the survey. If they do implement proper mod support, that would be fantastic. Even if it’s a few years from now.

I think even a moving frontline or on going war mode in PVE would be great too!

In my eyes it would devide the community.
We wouldn’t have the same raw experiences any more. Or at least the chance of the same experiences, because at least Playstation users wouldn’t get in the taste of mods…

Ok, depends on the kind of implementation.
If there would be an official mod-browser in the game which even works for all consoles, it would be nice. But the mods must fit all requirements then. And they must find a way to make them compatible with cooperative multiplayer.

Like: “the host has the following mods installed:… In order to be able to play with this host you have to install them, too. Do you wish to continue?”
