My idea for possible hacker specialization rework. I don’t think this implementation would destroy the game and I don’t think it would be hard for the developers to code. So unlocking the hacker specialization unlocks a scope with a module that has the hacking ability.
For low level enemies like hunters and below, shooting at an enemy creates a pulse that shuts down enemies in an area for 10 seconds. The cool down could be like 2min or a minute and half (that way it could be viable for group and solo play).
For the higher levels enemies, shooting weak points or weapons could cause that portion of the machine to be hacked and not function properly. Like a Tank loosing the ability to walk if its legs are hacked or its rocket launcher can be hacked and target enemies for 10 seconds with a 2 minute cool down.
