Having to start from beginning of map/losing saved data

Steps To Reproduce: I tried joining my partners game again, tried doing a solo session and vice versa again but every time I end up at the beginning of the map with some lost saved data.

Host or Client: Both

Players in your game: 2 including myself, or just myself

**Specifications:**Ps4 slim, 1tb, everything original.

I LOVE this game, and I expect bugs with a new release but unfortunately this one is game breaking. I’m not sure how I can progress and play it when I lose data and end up back at the beginning of the map.

Did you have the golden 50 cal this has happen to two of my friends who got the drop off a big mech on ps4 gamertag is koohchann or koohkooh. I’m just trying to figruie it out myself cause they do not want to play it again cause they fear losing more time.
