Hermelinen all by myself

Since the PS4 update, I’ve been allowing myself to chill out a bit on Adventure mode just to have a breather and to casually explore the world. Anyway, I thought I’d claim Hermelinen bunker to complete the Command Bunker Network, but when I got there I couldn’t find one single machine. Which meant no keycards. The lack of enemies might of course have something to do with Adventure mode, but the peculiar thing was that a broken door in one of the entrances actually granted access to the entire bunker without the need of keycards. Is this some kind of feature specific to Hermelinen? Or something related to the update? Also, the bunker didn’t even have a single tick in it, despite door being wide open.

@Kompani_Iboholmen What you see at the Hermelinen Bunker is all right because you don’t need no keycard to Enter the Bunker. I finished it in the early summer this year and my first attempt was running into the Hangar of the Bunker and open the door. Before i had killed some Runners and Hunters but i found no keycards.

At the Bunker door there was a letter that told me, that they have switched of the entrance system to prevent the break in from Robots.

Then i walked around the Bunker outside and found the destroyed main entrance.

Curios as i am i entered it. I’m always playing on skirmish mode because i see this more realistic as the endless battles at the gorilla mode.

So i did’nt see any attackers inside the bunker not a single tick.

So this was before the updates and what you have seen is O.K.

Cheers for that reply @helldiver!
I didn’t see that letter, but as I approached the area (I hiked over Myrdalsberget from Rusksele farm) the usual mission hints actually told me to collect keycards from machines. That whats made me wondering. :slightly_smiling_face:

Yes i was also wondering as I arrived the Bunker. I scatched my head and thougt what have i missed ?

I tried to blast the door with a Handgranade and with the Bazooka but no way.

Then i walked around and i slapped my head as i saw the broken entrance

It’s sad that not more bunkers are like this as the bunkers in game barely change and you end up knowing whats coming. One Bunker ( Can’t remember been so long since doing the mission ) the generator failed and you need to activate backups. It just shows the game probably could have used a few more months to polish things and create more individual scenarios in the bunkers. ( Revamp old storyline? )
