I’m suggesting some type of tracking for two different issues;
spray paint to mark buildings you have already been in, as well as navigating bunkers.
Breadcrumbs or “on the map” locations of recently killed robots–especially useful after a pitched battle so we can loot our kills. This could erase after 3 or 4 hours.
Yeah I’ve often thought at least having a spray can to tag walls in bunkers would be cool since it is easy to get turned around down there, especially in the dark.
Yeah, both of these would be nice. I’m immediately reminded of a fight with a rival in a forest a week ago, where I couldn’t find the wreckage after the carnage was over.
Asked this as well.
Therefore that is obvious an awesome idea! XD (jk)
While I do get the idea and like it, I do ask myself one thing…
Well no, I’m asking you, lol: why 3 to 4 hours?
Wouldn’t 1 be enough?
Reason of question: I think that would create clutter on the map, as many (although, I begin to wonder about this: seeing so many asking for increasing the stash cap due to hoarding) do not loot the whole bot inventory…?
To my taste 1 hour should be more than enough?
I like the idea of spray paint. Useful in marking buildings and going thru bunkers. We can currently mark a location with a 1. Perhaps allowing us to mark up to 9 locations would serve the same purpose but making it a number it would help identify why it was marked.
I wouldn’t be against the idea of having spray paint as long as it didn’t take up a space in the player inventory. Another idea would be to allow the player to put a mark on the map of which buildings the player has already looted (ex. would be x or / through the building).
Errr… a spray can lasts a while, and surely, if a weapon takes 2 spots, a can won’t take more than one?
Aside, everything takes a spot.
And you do not NEED to pick it up… unless you’re a hoarder?
If the dev’s provide the option for spray paint, whether it takes a space or not, it’s a welcomed addition.
Storage and “carry execution” are hallmarks of the game—I’d give up a dedicated space for the benefits marking would provide.
