How do I create a private online game on ps4

I recently got a buddy into GZ and was wondering how he and I could play together. Is it possible to create a private online game? I tried to look through the options but all it it gave me was the option to join a game? Please Help

BTW I’m on PS4

You can enter solo, then go to pause menu, then go to multiplayer and invite, in the same multiplayer tab there is an option to make the game invite only.
