How To View Total Hours (Not Just Hours In Combat) PS4

Hi guys.

As they title implies, I am wondering how you view your total In-Game hours (not just your hours in combat, which is 8 For me, with a longest battle of 47 minutes).

I must be at least 40 hours…but am I missing where it shows that?

Thanks in advance.

EDIT: I’m on console, PS4.

Steam shows the total playtime in hours of every game in the Library page!

Some Google-Fu and found this:

Right now the only way to easily get the amount of hours played on your PS4 directly from Sony is through their weekly PlayStation update newsletter that you should have emailed to you if you registered your PS4 and checked the box for the newsletter. On a weekly basis you will be provided the total amount of hours spent playing on your PS4 and also your total amount of trophies. There is also additional information about new games released and Editors Pick for the week so it’s actually a pretty good feed.

I get the sigh, since knowing how many hours you played on console does not give you the total hours you played a specific game. I guess it’s easier just to record the hours yourself, at least to have a ballpark idea how long you have played the game. Steam does that for me, but does also count the time that I left the game on pause, when I need to do something away from the PC. I’m nearly passing the 500 hour mark.

Speaking of pause, GZ doesn’t really have a pause. If I have to leave the pc for a while, I better travel to a savehouse first, or the chance is pretty high I’d find my character being killed on my return.

Though, i do get the point why console makers doesn’t want players know how much hours they have spent playing since knowing the number may limit the console usage and thus, hurt the console market in general.

With ample answers given, i conclude the question answered and close the topic.
