Now, here’s a ‘simple’ question:
What do you most, Adren of HP?
And why (not)?
NOTE:
This is not a you’re right or you’re wrong post: no matter the answer, you are always right.
It’s a taste question, and there is no wrong in taste…
Thank you.

I think I’m misunderstanding your question. I use them both to my disposal attempting to heal when I’m anywhere above about 10hp, and if I get past 10 HP I usually quit using the health packs and just wait to die so I can use my Adrenaline. I use them both pretty equally really. Being I’ve only been on the game for a month or so, I still have alot of trouble taking down Harv’s and tanks, so I try to use everything I have to my disposal. I’m not very good yet

OK, now, I hope my answer which is purely meant as example, will not break objectivity, but here we go:
I personally use only HP packs, Adren I do not use, as to me, it feels like cheating, like a form of godmode…
I will do ANYTHING to survive, but do I come to die… I will respawn in a safe house.
As to your question:
No, my friend, you’re spot on, and even exceeded what I expected as answer, it was very good motivated and explained.
Thank you very much.
Ah ok fair enough, just wanted to make sure I wasn’t answering a question you didn’t ask. Lol honestly I understand, I can see your point to how it feels almost like cheating. No Adren would definitely make it more realistic and it would probably force you to use more caution and tacticality. I might just try this, maybe my playing will even improve a little
This I hoped to prevent, it seems as if I condemn adren use.
For MYSELF I do, but I do not want others to be affected by my idea in this regard.
The game to me is like I role play a pen and paper game, I enter it as the character and am the character.
Many tell me I take it too serious, and I always agree, but… how can you not?
The game is so amazing…
Which is why I ask (far too much I’m told) for more realism.
As I asked then… just… how can you NOT… take it “too serious”… how can you NOT be so immersed…
And this is by all means a compliment to Avalanche and it’s team!
Not sure this can be answered properly.
Well I tend to agree with that if you’re gonna play a game like this it’s so much more enjoyable when you can look at it as “this is me, this is my life, what would I really do in this situation”. Sometimes I just like to try different ways to play though I started a separate save file to try to do the Zero Hero Challenge. It’s not going well but I attempted it lol
EEEEW you… you… perv… XD
Lol, made me smile, thank you.

And why not?
God knows how many save I’ve gone through… insane… XD
Do not give up, you’ll get there, my friend.
I am darn confident in that regard, that you will get there!
I primarily rely on the med kits to stay alive. I save my adrenaline for when I am too far away from a safe house and trying to complete a mission, like if I am in a bunker attempting to unlock the war room. I have the survival skill so I get the 1 free revive anyway.
LOL, I sometimes use large med packs to heal from 99% of health
Same thing here except I don’t have the survival skill. But if I’m far from a safe house doing something interesting and I’m low on adrenaline, I usually drop a field radio.
And like Xogger I feel using adrenaline is a bit like cheating. But so is health packs. If a runner with a rocket launcher gets the hots for me, I often end up with 1% health. A pack or two later, all is fine and dandy. But that is the game dynamics. There are so many fights to pick. If you were only fighting a few machines over a game session, the fight would be the challenge. Then it might require you to plan the fight better, lay out a strategy each time, retreat when injured, spend time in a safe location to recuperate, etc. Then slaying two runners would suddenly be a feat that might take hours to complete. But I don’t think we would have the patience to play the game like that.
Personally I’d rather have a lot of health packs than a lot of adrenaline.
@all people here:
Thank you everyone for participating.
Most appreciated!
I leave the fridge open and brush my teeth in the shower.
I currently have 3 stacks of 20 adren in my stash. In the hotel defence mission (my first and only, successful, attempt that crashed later-on), I only needed 3. And I don’t have any damage reduction skills. Med kits, particularly advanced ones, are much more important.
