I’m on PC and if I die in the UI when I’m looting something I cant open loot the UI anymore when I’m back up.
Mmh, simple solution: don’t loot while you’re in combat.
It’s normal that you can’t loot a machine that doesn’t have any loot (any more).
If you already took everything, you can’t open it again.
But your case indeed seems to be interesting.
You start looting, just pick one Item or even none, you get killed and get the screen to use an adrenaline shot or to respawn.
You revive yourself and want to continue looting the machine, but can’t open it again.
Is that correct? Sure that it were the same machines?
Can you provide a video that shows your issue?

This happens repeatable and all the time if you loot machines as you destroy them and then keep moving. Sometimes the “E” outline around the machine is still there but you cannot open the loot screen. This has been going on a few months now.
Didn’t experience on PS5 yet.
