Not being able to control him (or even direct him) is super frustrating. He can be 2 meters away from you while you’re exchanging fire with a tank (or anything else that takes more than a few seconds), and he’ll randomly target some runner or seeker 200 meters away, chase after it, then wind up dragging 10+ more bots into a fight that was just supposed to be one, and his damage output isn’t anywhere near enough to offset that much bigger a fight. Even if direct control is too big of an ask, at the very least he should be restricted to targeting bots that are actively targeting/engaged with you, as well as have some form of “call-off” to keep him from taking off on you.

Companion should only attack targets already “marked” by combat. Red lights agro state.
