I need wood for my companions armour

Can you please add cutting down trees or shooting them down because my friends and I need wood for our companions and we have to go on 20 minute runs to find three or four pieces of wood

Maybe try to collect a good amount of emergency flares and recycle them. That makes 2 pieces of wood per flare and they are more than common in the world… :man_shrugging:

Obtaining

Harvesting
Wood can be harvested from small trees found in forests around the map

Recycling
Wood can be gained from recycling many things, like:

  • Emergency Flares (2 wood, 1 adhesive)
  • Emergency Flares (Sticky) (2 wood, 2 adhesive)
  • Fireworks (2 wood, 1 adhesive)

Additionally, if you own the resistance weapons DLC, arrows can be recycled.
There also are some locations where you can find small piles of wood lying on the ground, but they are rare. For example at tyloveden control point there is some wood on the ground.

Maybe we could make a list of where to find them else.

I agree that much wood is really hard to get.
In the past there often was wood in loot boxes, too, but with introduction of the saplings, they were removed.

‘saplings’ - just learned a new term.
I love to harvest several saplings because of the sound it makes.
