I know how Generation Zero is an online game, but I think it would be cool if we weren’t the only four survivors every game. So I want to know if you guys can add a few NPCs. Seriously, we only know characters because of radios and left messages. The only time we see other characters are when they are dead soldiers. Which gets me to remember that it seems soldiers are the only guys dying. I’m getting off topic. What I’m asking is that if you can make a few ALIVE NPCs. Please?
Welcome to the forums! The devs have stated in the past few Q&A streams that they know NPC’s have been a requested feature many times, but right now it doesn’t seem like anything that’ll be added soon. But in the future, anything’s possible.
Personally I’d like to think it’s an engine limitation, but who knows?

The games engine is capable. Seeing other gems they made prior and recent. The time and effort to do pre planning, models, animations/rigs and scripting is a large task.
