If you’ve purchased within the last 14 days, I suggest refunding it

Hello fellow GZ players,
I’m sure by now most of you have installed the new “patch” that came out today for this game, and needless to say, from what I’ve read, it has broken the game even further. I guess this is what happens when adding a camera and other useless stuff takes priority over fixing the bugs, which don’t get fixed for a month or more at a time.

Anyways, I am writing to inform you that I am currently trying to get a refund on the game through Microsoft, but their refund policies have changed. Before, I could chat with a live support agent, and even after owning the game for more than 14 days, were able to issue a refund right then and there. This has now changed, and on their website it says “Most publishers won’t issue refunds beyond 14 days”. And now you need to fill out a refund request, stating why you want a refund, and it gets sent off to a refund team for review. They respond within 72 hours letting you know the verdict. So I strongly urge you, if you’ve had it under or up to 14 days, submit a refund request, and maybe check back in a year to see if the game is worth your money then… I will keep you updated as to what the outcome is with my refund, but I don’t feel like these guys will allow a refund after 14 days… but, I can say, that the more people request it, and say how much of a broken disaster this game is, the more likely they may be to refund beyond 14 days. Not sure though.

And I’m just trying to help out the frustrated masses who thought they were buying a finished product. If you’re fine with the game in it’s current state, then great, I wish you the best, and a speedy fix to all these new, and recurring issues. I don’t need you commenting on how you love the game and will keep it, just for the sake of commenting. It is a great concept of a game, and very cool at first, just please be honest about your experience with the game so new players, or people considering buying the game can see what they can expect from it.

Bought it three days ago. PS4 physical copy from Walmart.

Played it once, thought it looked good. Now I’m on day 3 and have still played it once. I’ve never returned a game before so I dug the receipt out of my trash can, took it in, and was told that all they can do is exchange it for another copy since it’s been opened.

I’m not some gaming fanatic but this is the first time I’ve ever felt so cheated by something I’ve purchased. It’s like I bought a lemon at a car lot. Really can’t imagine I’m ever going to ever enjoy the game even after this big brick bug is fixed. My expectations are totally shattered.

People on here are saying “it’s just 40 bucks, waa.” I’m not rich by any means and that’s what I can afford for entertainment this month. Might as well have thrown it in the trash. Irritating.

Aw man that’s lame! They need to switch up their policy on that… I mean they can see there’s no scratches and only played a few hours but cause it’s open they can’t do anything but exchange it. I’d say maybe then get the exchange and then it will be wrapped still then put it on eBay or something, fb maybe too. Sell it for like $37, people will buy it yo! I guess that’s a good thing with digital purchases, I mean I would like the hard copy for some games, but I don’t understand why you need to wait a few hours to download the game and then still need the disc to play it every time… it’s really annoying. Should just be able to put the disc in and play right then!

The Walmart by me refunds games for cash, but the one a few hours a way near my brother does store credit or exchange for games.
I do it a few times a year when games look good but turn out to be crap.
Fall out 76 was returned March!
