Seeing the daily missions and thinking “That’s extreme, Hard DEFENSE mission, alone also”. (My gunslinger still refuses to play until a fix is ​​released!)
Did the other two and checked the map, only an active base defense to pick up on top of Tylöveden. “This is going to be a massacre, and it’s going to be I who gets massacred.” And hell no, I’m not chickening out and lowering the difficulty.

The base survived but it was close with tanks in every wave. Just a Military and rest all Phoenix and Apocalypse. Knocked several times and used tons of mines, portable turrets and EMPs and resources that just came out of storage to repair and build new walls to keep me from losing the base. For the first time I was grateful for the current bug with Apocalypse class on Hunters and Tanks.

So to my reward for this, apart from all the nice 5C loot from the high ranked tanks, there was… nothing?!
But I did a hard… wait, what? ASSAULT mission? :man_facepalming:

No, that’s defense what you did.
Assault is when you attack a FNIX base.

You are not alone. I’ve also been guilty of this. Bit of a facepalm after I read the mission text
properly… At least I got some decent loot out of it.
