Hey @Unleet
Looks like there may have been ammo attached to the weapon when you moved it from the inventory to the plundra storage? Maybe a large stack of ammo was deposited at the same time?
- Does this issue occur with this weapon when there is nothing attached to it?
- Is the issue reproducible? i.e. can you make it happen over and over?
- If the issue can be reproduced could you provide reproduction steps for it?
If this issue is reproducible and still occurring on your save would you be up for providing us with a copy of your save file so we can investigate it closer? To send a save file follow the steps below!
- Your save file can be found here: Documents\Avalanche Studios\GenerationZero\Saves
- Right-click the save folder (containing “savegame” and “savegame.bac”) > send to > compressed (zipped) folder
- Go to https://wetransfer.com/ (No account required)
- Click the “…” button and select “get transfer link”
- Add/attach the .zip archive with the save file(s)
- Upload and copy the link
- Send me a DM here on the forum and include the link from wetransfer
Sorry for the inconvenience and thanks for reporting!
Unattached the ammo does let it transfer at its correct weight.
However, this is still a bug. It pulls all the ammo with it even when that same ammo is loaded in my AL-76
Ammo considered “attachment” and in this game there’s quirk that allows for quick re-equip - gun stored with all connected attachments and they will be brought back attached to gun as long as they didn’t moved separately. Thing is - ammo is shared across all compatible guns, unlike other attachment, and will move into chest with first stored gun that have it “attached”. Different ammo types are considered “separate” attachments.
To combat this you have manually “disconnect” ammo from all guns you’d like to stash, but keep it’s ammo. Recycling doesn’t require manually unmounting stuff - it’ll scrap gun only.
