and considering we cant upgrade more of our stats after we have all perks, there is no point in levelling.

Yes, max lvl is 10 k.
Yeah, not like we get any stat point when level up 
Beside, we have like 1/3 in our skill tree not that useful especially during solo.
The level limit is set to 10000, but it is not possible to reach 7777, in the time that has past since the new limit was set. That player should have levelled up approx. 10.6 times every day for two year long to reach that. If we consider game mechanics, like machine spawning times, base spawning times, and gathering ammo and managing resources, and hours you can play, even levelling up only twice a day every day for two years long would be hard to do.
Just try to level up twice a day without cheating in any way for a week long. 
But the time needed to reach lvl 7777 should be at least more than GZ exists.

If we ever have even 1 point of stats increment by lv up, some of us might have great motive go leveling that high so we can even deal with those machines with merely one finger like:
I had some invisible doors at the airstrip last night. I have also run across some cabins a while back that the doors had some kind of weird portal like thing going on. When you walk through it everything was normal inside…didnt grab pics tho.

I never met any opened yet closed door, but i do know the cabin’s shaded door, it’s like there s a black curtain hanging at the door, you can now find this bug at almost all cabin, at least on PS4.
I was in a game with a level 10000 once, he gave me a backpack full of experimental klaucks lol
