I havent had the luxury of having another person to confirm this, hopefully someone will comment if this works for them. This has only been tested by myself on the PC
When having a pair of binoculars equipped on your number 4-7 inventory hotkeys (doesnt matter which number), drag and drop a weapon from your inventory over the binoculars for it to switch/equip the weapon to that hotkey.
I’ve been able to reproduce this every single time on my game having weapons equipped in all 4-7 slots.
Need people to help confirm does this work for everyone, PC or not? Or is it only on my end…

Were you using a PC or console?
I’m using a PC. Tried it using the Xbox 360 controller too and that did the same thing.

Muhahaha, hilarious! Great discovery ! I can confirm this truly works !!!
I"m playing on PS4. I equip the binoculars to the first inventoryhotspot,
than drag an drop a weapon on the binoculars position. I repeated this with all the other slots
always putting the binoculars on the spot first and than dragdropping a weapon on it. Works perfect, just like you say, even on PS4. Now we have a second quick menu for weapons.
