Invisible Vulture?

Did a daily FMTEL - “Do a hard base assult” and decided to spawn a Vulture.

The Vulture spawned east of the crater near the windmill and the river, and before I ended the GZ session for today I got an idea. I got a Reaper that stomping around between Broskulla and the border to Forest region. Could I trick the Vulture to fly close to the Reaper with flares, fireworks and a few shots if needed so they start a battle?

Answer was No, there is no Vulture where it showns at the map.

Left the game to menu and loaded it again. Nope, where is my Vulture?

Left the game again, loaded same world but other character and down to the river again. And there it was hanging doing life miserable for a FNIX Harvester. Back to safehouse, left the game and switched to the other charcter again, and down to the water and… No Vulture???

Turned off GZ and loaded it up and back to the place again, No Vulture…

Anyone had a similar experience and managed to solve it? Besides using the other low-ranking resistance fighter who could actually see the Vulture?

I’ll have to check my world today later.
I had almost the same. Fmtel base assault, spawned a reaper and a vulture and played on. The vulture should be a few hundred meters east of Tveberga control point (most south west of farmlands), but at least when I fast travelled to my base there, there was nothing to see or hear in the east.

I just built some defense there and left the game, but had a strange feeling… I’ll report.

Edit:
OK, took a few minutes and checked it now.
False alert from my side. Just had to move more east.

But that doesn’t change, that you obviously have an issue with it.

My Vulture suddenly chose to raise itself, and now it’s destroyed! :smiling_imp:

Fought a vulture for the first time after the new fix, it was amazing! Unfortunately the loot was less amazing…

Loot now is so unsatisfying.
No matter which machine, but especially from rivals and tyrants.

Knowing that I’ll always get ammo for the weapons I carry took away the excitement of looting.
And compared to normal machines the rivals and tyrants loot is really crap.

Yeah ok, you have a chance for the new ressources and some special weapons, but that’s all. And it’s far away from a guarantee. Regarding ammo the firebirds still give most… Which often is too much. Who needs (or usually has free space for) for example more than 60 rockets for each launcher?

Oh, my loot wasn’t all that bad I was just hoping for the laser rifle, I got the Sjoqvist.

still missing the any ammo experimental

I’ve had an invisible level 4 hunter a little northwest of the Marden bunker now for the past few days. Every night I go there nothing…no sound no nothing.

Tonight I found two more. Where I’m standing there should be a level 4 tank at the edge of the water. Straight across from that should be a level 4 harvester…both at the red arrows. I x-rayed the water and nothing is there. Pretty soon we’ll just be running around with a gun collecting loot boxes.

Try another character in same world as I did and see if they are visible and then switch back to the other character.
Did it a couple of times, with game restarted between and on my 2nd day/ 3rd time I started up GZ my vulture was just visible. I guess it’s something bugged in the data for the character+current world that self healed after the games saves a couple of times. Worst case, they disappear, but then they’re off the map anyway.

How odd? I’ve got a level 4 harvester rival in that exact same position that I can’t see, hear or interact with. It’s been there over a week now.

It’s starting to look like a pattern, or ? Close to /in /above the river and it’s invisible.

Someone who tried what I did above, switching back and forward between characters in the same world?

Nice post by the way

So it IS a pattern…

“Destroy 3 Rivals” did the FMTEL asked for and even with FMTEL missions turned to fubar I still needed to cut down the number of active Rivals. So I picked some in the forest region and saw these 2 on the map.3 or 4, who cares?

But anywhere near Överbyån, from now translated to Shitcreek, machines we can see and follow on the map (and others?) turns invisible. …just why??? The list of bugs implemented with crap patches keeps growing and growing with perfect timing for the “GZ is done”.

“I see you…”

“…not?!”

It’s a cluster **** !

Second day with the invisible machines. So I did as before when my Vulture was invisible, jumped out of game to game menu chosed 2nd character in same world, nothing visible.

Realized it was another one of my characters who solved the problem earlier, so out to the game menu and selected same world and the 3rd character, “the right one”.And I was met by a snake pit of heavy machinery in addition to the 2 rivals I was looking for! I didn’t think machines would engage in such filth but there they were, 4 of them on top of each other.
As answer to my own Q above - Yes! It’s not just Rivals that goes invisible!

So off a bit from the orgy off reinforced steel and hydraulic oil and out to the menu again, loading up the main character. Back and… only one Apo. Harvester Rival of the four is visible!
With that one out of the game yesterday I will do the procedure changing characters again, this time I’ll remember to take some photos of their filthy behavior if they are still rubbing and grinding steel against steel.

:open_mouth: A pity that you didn’t take and shared some visuals of that snake pit you so aptly described. I’m looking forward for when you do! :coffee:

Sorry @Gysbert There wasn’t any hardcore steel on steel today. Not even a drip of hydralic oil.
But I’ve seen it before even without invinsible machines. Harvesters and Tanks “doing things” you tought wasen’t possible with the game physics seending corps in orbit above Östertörn. More like magnets drawn to each other.

Tought this would be funny, instead of photos I staretd recording a video but today I only managed one of my characters to trick one of the machines into showing itself, only to disappear when I switched to my warrior queen…
Anyway, here is videos of the invinsible Apo.Rival and I did try to make it move away from Shitcreek… It went the other way.
And I manage to stop the recording with my clumsy fingers but it’s just a second gone.
