Is there a cross-platform?

Sorry if I am writing to the wrong place. We would like to play with a friend, but we cannot connect something. someone said that there is cross-platform, but we cannot connect. I’m on pc, he’s on PS 4 slim

There is no cross platform in GZ, and probably never will.

Besides getting the “yes/no” answer and also insight about it most likely not coming, here, i feel that you also might want to know “why”.

Cross-platform was asked in one of the older dev streams and devs answer to it is at 00:29:12,
