Last i played gz on console it only had controller controls, i was wondering if keyboard and mouse controls could be added for console players to use as well
edit: all platforms should be able to use different controls, like if a pc player prefers playing fps games using a gamepad instead of their keyboard n mouse
Using a controller and having extra mobility and confort is one of the few reasons for having a console, so why add Keyboard and mouse controls?

Well… What if you’re not used to play a shooter with a gamepad? Many years ago, when I decided to buy a Xbox360, I was used to play CS, UT, Far cry and whatsoever with mouse and keyboard. It took some time to get familiar with gamepads.
But of course, you cannot compare the controls of early console shooter games to current ones. Shooters on ps1 and ps2 were horribly with gamepad.
On the other hand… Since then I never played a good RTS again, as I will never get used to play them with a gamepad

Play it on PC then.
Its the master race anyway, just less confy if we dont have all the right acessories and PC specs.
BTW: GZ was initially supposed to be only on PC, then they opened their horizons, do you actually expect them to give an almost 6 year old game Keyboard and mousse patch when its already on PC?

Mmh, losely quoting Zesir and Carni, they are always friends of accessibility-options to meet the demands of all players.
Although there currently aren’t many options available yet, this could be another item on their to-do-list.
But I also agree with you. The game has its age and it’s not very likely that we’ll ever see this option.
On the other hand there also is the question, if it would even be possible on every consoles, as the consoles themselves would have to support it, too.
There are so many changes we would like to have and it would even be an"Offense" that they would give keyboard and mouse options when we still have so many issues and some core systems in urgent need of change.
Super Nintendo Controllers, are still the best controller in the world, it only lacks couple buttons, PS4 are heavy controllers, but do well with GZ, & I don’t understand mouse & keyboard,

How do you write a text just with a gamepad?
It works. That’s the answer to both.
And with a Keyboard you can have more buttons.
And the buttons you want.
And a mouse is a more direct Input for aiming.
Last but not least it’s just a matter of training. For both.
But, I don’t want to miss my modded dualsense on PS5 anymore, too 
controllers just make more sense for playing games, when texting, keyboards are quicker, 
I did for forget that though, you can text in generation zero multiplayer peoples PC keyboard, not PS4 though, owell
about 10 years ago I did use my xbox360 controller on my laptop playing super Mario Brothers SNES emulator, 360 controller was nicer using, using keyboard to play Mario Brothers didn’t like though
changing how many items in generation zero, quicker with keyboard, numbers, instead of holding left right drop 4 backpack things
Yes i agree as a old pc player newer console player i perfer to use pc controls BUT ive gotten use to the playstation controls and dont need this but wouldnt mind if this is added.
