I think it’d be great for console players to get full keyboard compatibility, as it’d make combat much more easier and fun for those who wish to play with a keyboard and mouse but do not have a computer to do so.
Why? This seems like a question to pose to your console manufacturer, not the devs for a game. They don’t control the hardware options.
Also, you should be able to put a USB Keyboard on any of the consoles. Why can’t you?
I guess it’s about the key-bindings, but not sure.
Well, and some games are improved for mouse-support, and others aren’t.
Both PS5 and Xbox support keyboard and mouse, for games and web browser, messaging etc.
He’s asking the devs because it’s up to them whether or not the game supports keyboard and mouse as an option. The same way not all PC games support controller, it’s up to the devs.
Feels unnecessary. The game isn’t a competitive looter/shooter or PVP-centric (or even possible) game. The robots don’t need twitch reflexes to play. In fact, the game makes more sense playing with a more sensitive, slower controller. Never understood why anyone thought mouse and keyboard was the better setup. Guess that’s just me.
There isn’t really one better than the other. It’s all what every individual player prefers.
I for instance, have never even used a controller for gaming (but I am on PC). But I can understand that other players might prefer a controller over a keyboard + Mouse and visa versa.
At the end of the day, it boils down to accessability, which I’m all for. If there’s a way to implement this so that more players have better experience, it’s a good idea.
