Not sure if I understand your report correctly.

You aim at something with the red dot of this lmg, shoot once and then see that the bullet hole is not there where the red dot points on?

Did you think about bullet drop and recoil? It’s an lmg.

No its the same at point blank range

Made quick test. 5* KVM 89 and 5* 2x red dot.
Point blank shot goes excatly where red dot is. Take couple of meters back and it drops 1 bullet hole distance.

What quality KVM and 2x red dot is used?

Conclusion after quick test.
Appears to be just normal bullet drop. And i use heavily this weapon in combat. If there was major miss alligment of sights, probably would have noticed it.

I’m using a 4 star gun & scope for me the Bullets go below the dot no matter what it gets even weirder when I’m trying to aim at enemy at distance
Edit: it gets awkward to aim at a distance

Compare your field of view settings. Maybe it could be related to this?

What is the standard ?

I have 1920x1080 resolution, field of view is set to 70.

There has been talk about dynamic fps setting if i remember right causing some problems in certain situations.
But simply that could be that 4* gun and 4* 2x red dot combo. Do you have lower quality sight or/and weapon to make test if there is the same thing?

I only have all 5* weapons and scopes. So cant test those combinations.

Just got the 5 star weapon. I had a 5 star scope but don’t like how 5 stars are like pure metal. in my opinion 5 Stars should be right out of the factory with standard paint with NO scratches not silver. anyway off topic yes its still the same. just tried on FOV 70 it worked !.

That is good it works now.
But also very interesting that FOV affects it.
And will try to replicate this bug/offset.

Made test FOV 50,60,80 (70 skipped which i use).
Could not make difference with 5* KVM 89 and 5* 2x red dot.

So this is related to specific crown tier weapon and/or 2x red dot sight. Or some other settings or something wrong with screen resolution.

All weapons in GZ have pre-defined zeroed sights (with some scopes it’s adjustable), to go along with the bullet drop & ballistics system of the game. Perhaps that’s what’s being experienced.

Yeah I was about to say, same as the Kpist fireing over the Red Dot reticule.

this happends for me too. without a scope the shot is accurate but with the red dot the bullet goes below it
