I just started playing this about 2 days ago. I love the game, but I would really love to see LAN access due to my location in the world I do not have or capable of getting high speed internet. Some of my friends have this game and are dying to join together. We are playing on PS4. #OldschoolLANparty
Generally, I see very little reason as to why saves should be online only. It’s hardly an MMO where cheating hurts other players or an F2P where xp boosts are the sole means of revenue.
