Large EMP has a slightly larger radius than the car battery i believe, but it can be hard to tell, i’d like someday to get more information in the text window of materials like this so we can know the blast radius and when it comes to explosives the power related to them.
Though depending on your preference it might be easier to farm the car batteries than the L EMP, as you don’t need to go tank/harvester hunting. You can get them really easily at any location with lots of tool boxes, so no ammo required to get a lot of car batteries.

True. And yes, I was wondering the same about gas tanks vs. large fuel cells.
