We’ve got another update from the team, today.
They say they’re aware of the problems regarding Base Defenses and Assaults not spawning and they’re working on a fix, which will be ready “soon”. They still have to go through testing and stuff. They say it’ll be out on Steam first, then consoles. We’ll get definitive dates for the hotfixes when they’re ready.
Cool. 
I just submitted my savegame - if anyone else has the problem, and haven’t done so already, please do to help developers test the bug!

If you make a report using this site you can submit your save game with the report.
At least if you play on PC, for consoles I cant say since I dont use those.
